I really enjoyed Amanda turning Dumas and the Musketeers on their heads! I'm glad that Amanda had a chance to right the record, and Joe and the Immortals (speaking of Three Musketeers...) lent appropriately sympathetic ears. I share Amanda's curiosity about what else Joe keeps in his pocketses.

Mayhap one of these days she will investigate.

Of course she wouldn't do it behind Joe's back. Perhaps she'll get him OUT of his clothes and then look through the pockets, a challenging little grin for Joe the whole time.

Ended up here randomly - I really enjoyed the story. Somehow it manages to capture the essence of Amanda while staying true to the novel AND a history rather lacking in women's rights.
