White jackets and pink carnations, farthingales and furbelows, kilts and doublets and jewels straight out of museaums. Not just costume-pr0n, costume orgy! (As a costumer this makes me Just So Happy :-) and is one of the things I adore about HL.)

I think I know that sackbut player ... and I know I know the clarinet player ....

Yay romance and flirting and silver-haired sirens.

I so love the combination of fun and pathos -- Duncan missing Fitz, and Sean, and without even really knowing it, Methos. Love how the flashback fits in (and we get to watch Duncan putting on his plaid :-) and Methos watching Duncan without watching ....) tying to both the beginning and the end, a pivot.

Pierson and Kiltboy sex! Yes!

And then the lovely delicacy of the message in the snuffbox, and escaping like mice through the wainscotting.

I can't decide whether I like Duncan better in the kilt or out of it. I suppose I could check with Methos, but I think I know what he'll say.

Love the outfits and the malaise for poor Duncan, too.
