This was just great. I've never seen the Dead Zone TV show, but I'm familiar with it through the book and film.

I realised who it was about a third of the way in, it was so obviously him. You've caught him really well within the persona of Klein but still the essential Methos (tho I obviously can't comment on how like Klein it is *grin*).

Glad you liked it, and it's really great to hear I managed to get a handle on Methos' 'voice'. When I saw that bit where they're saying Johnny is publicity shy and then Klein goes 'and yet you've both heard of this shy fellow', I just had to write Methos as Klein!

Good story. I'd have loved to have known what Johnny saw when he touched Methos. Some Immortal business, perhaps?

LOL, I would have loved it if Johnny had seen some of Methos' Immortal past! Taking a Quickening maybe... Sadly, in the show, what Johnny sees is Methos pushing the engine throttle forward as he says "God forgive me". It's supposed to make it look like Methos is deliberately trying to crash the plane, which is why the air marshal later boots him out of the cockpit.

Really glad you liked it! And yes, once I saw that ep, there was no way it wasn't Methos flying the plane. I also really liked the idea of him coming face to face with a psychic. After 5000 years, he must have seen some really fascinating stuff!
