Our Men's Novice 8+ DID get 4th place during their first heat, so they DID move on to the petite finals, where they took 3rd! That is so good! I think that means that they still get medals. Jealous. But it was awesome to see them pull through USD during their last sprint, and I'm really happy for my friends ( Read more... )

That's so funny that you guys have a contract, we should have that. We are the terms and conditions? I'm so curious.

Well it's this big drawn out contract, so the rules are sort of embedded in various clauses of it, but the jist is being a good teammate, which entails things like no gossip or drama, encouraging one another if you feel like someone is not working as hard as they should be, etc.
Showing up to practice.
Putting in the work.
Along with no drinking is maintaining a good diet.
I dunno, I'll have to find my copy of it and look it over, but it's pretty standard stuff, and then it lists the consequences as well.
