Howdy. I realized sometime yesterday that I couldn't remember the last time I posted. More than a week ago, it seems. I'm here, I've just been feeling reclusive lately and have had ridiculously little to say about anything. In one of those not-quite-funks where I don't feel social or creative, which makes fannishness less compelling.

I did run into an adorkable guy, and will call him tonight and see if I can set up a coffee date so as to talk with him while sober. :-)

Glad that you had a good weekend, if busy. That job prospect sounds great! I mean, hard work, but if it's fulfilling then it's manageable.

lol, seriously WORD about geeky fanboys and their being in short supply. I'm like, "Okay, be smooth here," but on the other hand, I'm like, "Don't let him get away!"

Six Apart, who bought LJ a few years back, has sold it (or, um, licensed it? Or something) to a Russian company. So basically LJ is under the control of the Russians now, and many people (seems like more the Russians than the Americans) are worried that it will mean censorship and no free speech and general corruption. killabeez linked to an informative article about it this morning. Me, I'm gonna put my head down and ignore it all for now, as is my way :-)
