Well, okay, not in person, but on a really big screen. I went downtown to see Green Street Hooligans tonight. As a prelude, they really should have stuck with either Green Street or The Yank for a title. Oh well
( Read more... )
And Blithe too. But, BTW, I don't know, but, you know, the Lord of the Rings trilogy by Peter Jackson, AND Band of Brothers ... and Green Street has too much blood for you? ;-)
Marc Warren was SO good. Creepily Blithelike at the end.
LOTR and BoB also have more blood than I prefer. Doesn't mean I don't like movies that have blood; just means that the blood's usually my least favorite part. I squint a lot. Fight Club and Boondock Saints are among my favorites, too, and they're also bloodier than I can look at straight.
Largely because this: Ross's character showing up in an airline pilot's uniform. Dead sexy. And then later there were a couple of lingering shots of him in a black wifebeater. Arms: very very good. There were also several very Liebgottian winks, which warmed my heart. well, yeah, I don't need to explain that to you :)
thanks for the report. Sorry about the weekend - musta been going around. I'm sad to say I managed to not look at DiH. Need to kick my ass into gear NOW.
Good luck with agent and laundry and project and author and all the craziness. Go be your awesome self!
Laundry remains undone. Though I did find an outfit for today, and my hair is thus far behaving itself. Cut/color appointment on Wednesday should help.
*joins forces for collective ass-kicking* *needs all she can get*
Boo to laundry but yay to outfit and double yay to hair! Mine has not been trimmed since May and is currently taking over my head to Medusa-levels and I keep dragging my heels in finding someone to fix it...*sigh*
Aaaah, the Vortex. The entire universe is trapped in its grip, to powerful to escape. Which is my way of saying that Green Street Hooligans better get around to my small area of the Vortex right now. I wanna see our boys all beat up and purty.
I too spent a stupid weekend. Still have piles of folded laundry on my couch. I kind of sprawl strategically around them. Though I did wash the pots and pans, at the very least. They'd begun to pile up.
