Just a quick note to say I'm back from the Great Western Trek. Many adventures were had, and only one minor sunburn. Otherwise, I'm really clean for the first time in more than a week, I smell wonderful, and I'm off to what promises to be a peaceful night's sleep in a room all my own in a bed with a real mattress I don't have to share with any ( Read more... )

Marry me and we'll live in Wyoming and I'll entertain you with live slash featuring gay cowboys.

A very very very tempting proposal. Gotta say, there's something about a cowboy. The landscape was lovely, too.

Thank you! Wonderful to be stationary for a few days again, and to be back in touch. Still unable to catch up for real... maybe tonight after everyone else is asleep.

That second home in Wyoming will come in very useful for RHAR activities. Good to have you back, Agent.

Excellent to be back, Deputy Director. Have located perfect RHAR EC location, and also scouted out several NPS Rangers to add to our cadre.

Hurray you existing! Very excited to see you pop up back on my flist.
Even more excited to hear that you had a wonderful time (though I'm not surprised at the slightest).

only, my mail situation is wonky so if you are thinking of sending me a postcard and you don't think it'll arrive by Aug 23rd, don't send it until sept 1st (um, it's super complicated and I don't want it getting lost)

welcome back! yay new icons!

I was thinking of sending you a postcard. If I manage to get my act together in the next couple of days, I will send to your current addy, if not, I'll wait for the new one.

Must rush off--even stationary, still being directed by other people's schedules. More later!

p.s. pretty, pretty icon.

sounds good. my apartment thingy is funny and thus I am technically homeless (far as the post office is concerned) for a week and they say it'll be okay but I don't trust them not to lose mail and I'd be super sad if it lost something from you!

go, rush, have fun!

pretty, pretty icon.
isn't it? irmelin made it for me and I can't stop looking at it.

hallo hallo!

i emerged from my little cave to see that you were gone, m'dear, and it made me sad! but it's so great to have you back and i would love to see pictures, most definitely (it seems like everyone is traveling while i twiddle my thumbs in jersey, so living vicariously through photographs is the next best thing!).

and there is nothing so refreshing and comforting after a long time away than to bathe and fall asleep in your own bed.

i missed you!

We have ridiculous numbers of pictures, which I am charged with organizing onto CDs so we can all share. Will likely make a gargantuan pic post toward the end of the week. Be prepared for pictures of small boys atop every dead tree between CA and Montana.

Missed you too! So glad you're still able to pop your head out from your cave. Will catch up soon. <3<3<3

Oh, and yes, there are really buffalo in Wyoming. We saw tons, some quite close. I have a couple of really good pictures.
