home, clean, and so very for a real bed of my very own
Just a quick note to say I'm back from the Great Western Trek. Many adventures were had, and only one minor sunburn. Otherwise, I'm really clean for the first time in more than a week, I smell wonderful, and I'm off to what promises to be a peaceful night's sleep in a room all my own in a bed with a real mattress I don't have to share with any pillow-greedy children.
I had the most wonderful time, all things considered, and will update soon with details and pictures. Kids are great, sister is great, brother-in-law is great, zee franch are slightly tiresome 24/7 x 9, but are generally great.
Am gobsmacked to discover that I now have 100 icons! OMG!! The timing is impeccable, as the day before I left, I was finally struck with new icon inspiration, and have several dozen new ideas.
Missed you all horribly. I was very bad about writing postcards, but bought oodles along our 5-state trek. I will be working on them this week and shall send out asap.
