Is there an online version of the place where Lewis talks about that? (Is it an essay?) I would be interested in seeing it for myself. (If you're interested, I found some university site with PDFs of both Lewis's Three Ways of Writing for Children and Tolkein's On Fairy-Stories.)

And oh man, I would love to make that masculinity post, too. That would be loads of fun to think about and write about.

There used to be. It's from the essay "On Stories", at least, I think that's where I found it, and at one time Google had a sample of the anthology in which it was contained. That doesn't seem to be the case anymore though. (And of course I'm interested! What kind of question is that!?)

Yeah, there's just soooo much there I keep putting it off b/c I know it'll end up being essay length. Once I'm done with finals we'll see what happens.

I am not an impatient person. When and how often you update your LJ certainly doesn't matter to me.

However, the turrets asked me to send you a message:

LOL! And they're so cute! In a dangerously sociopathic kind of way.

I am still here, just not really in a writing kind of mood. I'm in that strange zone between genres and can't quite settle on reading, gaming, movies, or thinking.
