Amy loved the space ships.

It was just fun, bouncing from planet to planet, seeing all the different people and places. It let her get her hands dirty, but also let her explore and that was what she loved more than anything else. Plus, all the science was just fascinating. And the people just made things interesting. Alec had been wandering a bit. Stretching his legs while Jim did captainy things. He needed to get a hobby here. Find a gym. Something.

The first thing he noticed was the Jinx had stopped and was looking down a branching corrador. He turned his head to see what had caught his interest. He caught site of her just as she called his name. He saw the soul first. All shimmery dark and filled with embers and power. That was all he needed to know her.

The body changed but the soul was who Amy really was. Though the body was niiiice. Blue eyes this time. "Amy." The smile was a mile wide and all little boy. She was a familiar and loved face. He had her by the waist and was spinning her around before he had even realised he was moving.

The problem with humans, even part-humans, was that they tended to die on her. She could be lucky enough to have those friends for decades, but they always left in the end. Being a demon, she didn't get to go where her favorite prophet went after death, but she knew that he was with his family and that was good enough for her. However, that didn't mean she hadn't missed him.

Now, however, she was real and solid in front of her, and her arms slid around his neck easily, laughing a bit into the spin as he held her close. "It's so good to see you."

Once he was done spinning her and the laughter had died down a little he hugger her close, nose pressed to her neck. Different body so some of her scent was different. But she smelled happy. This life deffinatly appealed to her. "I'm glad you're here. Someone I know." Someone he could trust with everything. He knew he could trust Jim, but Jim didn't know his secrets. Not all of them. "I'm glad you remember me."

"Honey, you're pretty hard to forget," she said with a small smile, leaning in to him a bit as she stayed close. "Especially when I'm the one who wound up taking care of your dog for the rest of eternity."
