[Let's do this one backward, last question first.]

Jaguar.

I do wish you the best of luck in your research and theory-crafting. I'll keep myself occupied with trying to do more than conjuring little puffs of air.

Thanks. As I told you, I've already decided to take you on as a student as soon as I figure out everything. I'm just...a little behind now. That's all. [And with that thought, Padfoot, who was near the garden of House 26 by this point, suddenly disappears.]

[Ginia glances over at Padfoot as he disappears, then looks back at Draco, offering a warm and sympathetic smile.]

I understand, Draco. Take as much time as you need.

Not much, I assure you. ...but thanks.

[Ginia gives a tiny nod and another friendly smiles.]

While I doubt I'd be able to due to the type of magic and everything, if I could cast a Patronous, do you think it'd be a jaguar.

...yeah, I do. The Patronus takes form to reflect the personality of its caster, after all.

[Ginia smiles a little at the thought. It'd certainly be interesting to see.]

I suppose a jaguar is a good animal to be then.

As good as any. I'm...working on another theory to see if it's actually possible to work out a spell to conjure a Patronus but I'm fairly positive it's not possible. Not without a wand, anyway. And the magic's far too complex. But if I figure it out, you'll be one of the first to know.

I eagerly await any news you might have on that. Now, the wands, are they unique to each wizard or could a wizard use someone else's wand if needed?

In theory? Yes, a wizard could use someone else's wand. [It's not in theory. It's possible. He's watched it himself.] But when a wizard's old enough to obtain their own wand, the wand picks the wizard. They're unique in that sense.

The wand picks the wizard. Very interesting, but I can fully understand that.

It's very true. There are no two wands that are alike. They may share similar elements, but there's only one of each kind and you can't have one until you're eleven.

Eleven is the magic number for becoming a proper wizard or witch?

More or less. It's the age you start your schooling...at least in Europe it is. Once you hit that age, you receive your letter of acceptance if you're skilled enough and off you go to boarding school.

I'd offer a comparison on the schooling system in America, but I can't say much; never went to school.

Suppose a wizard wasn't skilled enough for one reason or another. Still off to school or no?
