That's so beautiful, Marissa - pretty much a summary of what God's been teaching me the last couple years. It's a precious passage! Your comments made me think of another one of my favorite passages, in Hosea 2:14ff - it mentions that we shall "sing THERE", in the wilderness. Wow. His ways are so far beyond ours...and so, so good!

Yes, for the most part I am encouraged to remember that, but sometimes it can be difficult to remember!

Amen! thank you for that insight. I think that is really important to remember in all those "dry" times. The Lord is still there in the midst of the desert. He is my daily
refreshment! No matter what is happening in life, when I go to Him I can come away feeling better about whatever it is because He renews my soul.
