I got this brill present for xmas off a friend, it was a grow your own banana plant :o) so in march I followed the instructions and planted the seed. a couple for months later, yey we had a tiny little banana plant :O

We actually had a banana tree growing at home. You may actually have been growing the right seed; lots of places substitute smaller plants that look a bit similar as they expect people to grow bored/kill it/not realise its a freeking tree and will be huge.
