Feeling a bit of a fool
I got this brill present for xmas off a friend, it was a grow your own banana plant :o) so in march I followed the instructions and planted the seed. a couple for months later, yey we had a tiny little banana plant :O)
In a few weeks it got to the stage when it needed re-potting, so I very carefully reported it, it still being very tiny. After that I was worry I had killed it coz it was looking very sorry for its self for a few days, but yet it pulled though and carried on growing happily.
DON DON DOOOON! the next big thing in the banana plants live was GREEN FLY grrrrrr. so we spayed the poor plant with bug killer and carefully picked off the green fly as we see them. yey no more green fly :o)
Now here’s the funny bit, over the last week or so I’ve started to notice the 'banana' plant is starting to look more and more like a WEED each day, so we looked up pics of banana plant on the net and sure enough our 'banana' plant looks nothing like them. :o( DOH!
