Well, I had a naming ceremony for Elda and Toji's twins! Of course, being a ceremony/ party of sorts it meant I had to do lots of sewing for it! Decided the theme for the family was grey - all different shades and fabrics, but grey, with a hint of pink! Me and Elda had to make some new sculpey food for the occasion and we had guests over and ( Read more... )

Thank you Linny! ^___^ So glad you approve of Kaede's new hair - I just love it. Of course, you have to take major credit for my beautiful girl. Whenever I post pictures of her I always get people exclaiming over her. I never get tired of looking at her new face-up - it's just fabulous.

Yay!! That was so much fun. Sri's "blessing" is worrying me somewhat but I'm sure Kaede can do something about that.

XD Yeah, Sri's role ended up a bit like the wicked fairy in Sleeping Beauty - she's such a badass! Kaede will just have to mop up the mess! Tomo's face looks so reproachful as he ticks off Jindra!

I love the way everyone has their own style within the color palette, except as usual, Tsukasa doesn't seem to want to play dress up. Ah well, there's one in every crowd. At least he wore a nice suit, even if it had to be dressed down with his accessories to get him to submit to it. Shin seems to be even more opposed to formal wear than Tsukasa. His outfit is obviously dressy, but definitely in a street-wise fashion ( ... )

Susan, I love how you've deconstructed my thinking behind each outfit! Wow, you certainly do have an eye for detail and I really appreciate you casting it so appreciatively over my work. I couldn't figure out what it was I liked so much about Kaede's ensemble but now you've described it so masterfully I realise it is indeed the visual texture - I must try that again throwing a lot of different fabrics into the mix. I tend to use only one or two I guess because you can make a whole outfit out of a metre, or half a metre if you're lucky! It's Toji's birthday today (two years!) so I read him your 'dissolute romantic' comment which seemed to please him no end. And somber innocence is one of my favourite descriptions of Elda's look ever!

The whole story about the arrival of the twins is so great. I liked it how Elda was ready to do anything to have babies, I liked the waiting and now I'm really curious about the future. Good for Elda that she didn't have to fight with any diapers, she got such cute and grown up boys straight away :)
The first picture, the one in the snow, is absolutely beautiful. I love the colours, it looks so dreamy, not a hint of anything demonic ;) I loved how you prepared the ceremony. The outfits for the family are lovely and the food is so yummy! I'm amazed by your food-making skills :) I love, love every look of Kade, she just always looks good and no exception this time, the new hair makes her look absolutely gorgeous.
