Is it bad that I'm not sad about this?
Quite apart from real life taking over, I'm just excited about what happens next. And glad that a certain someone won't have control over a certain character.

Double gladness from me - it means he can stop trying to ruin my ship too. xD

LMAO.
Nah, I think it's good that someone is not sad about it. I am sad for the loss of the 10th doctor, because it is like the end of an era, but I am SO excited about the new one!!

Yes, exactly. I'll be sad about it when the time comes, but right now I'm sort of excited because I've felt like the show has needed a shake up for a long time, and who could ask for a better finale than for DT and RTD to take their swansong at the same time?! I feel like RTD really loves DW so much and it's essentially safe in his hands, so I'm so glad the Tenth Doctor gets to leave under his reign.

While I do enjoy Moffatt's writing (even if that's an unpopular opinion sometimes), I don't trust him with this ship. As much as I believe that the Doctor is the Doctor... I can't see Ten ever "moving on", really. Don't want to.

But yes, I don't trust him with Ten. At all. We may obviously still have a marrying-River scenario, but at least it'd be handled under RTD.

ENTIRELY.
I'm really really excited.
