I just streaked through the library. Its been a long time coming.

saw Avenue Q last night, it was incredible. Had a great time once again, I always do when katie comes down, but as usual new rochelle is mad boring whenever college friends come to visit.

just came back from matt's uncle's recording studio in the Berkshires...amazing time, the high points of our playing were better than ever, the only complaint by all was we needed more time there so we're going back. Managed to finish three songs, we'll try to go back for a weekend and get two more done if possible.

Keller Williams concert last night!
He was absolutely incredible, one of the best musicians I've ever seen. Coming off the Slip concert the night before, it almost seemed like too much to take in. And he played an Ani song, Swing!

just heard I got knocked off the top ten list for my high school track team in steeplechase. joel's a bitch. weird feeling, though, on one level who gives a shit and on another ...I'm getting older. soon I'll be plucking grey hairs and bitching about newfangled technology.

Can't wait to record this summer, we've been waiting long enough.

Spring is finally here. Its beautiful outside. At least half the campus is playing frisbee, having a catch, or walking around enjoying the sunshine. In a wonderful coincidence, my aunt sent me my birthday present today, a battery powered amp that enabled me to play outside with matt for hours. Home at last. Seeing the Tsub tomorrow, then liz and my birthday weekend.

So, a week ago I was facebook friended by this girl named Laura Obstfeld from Colorado State. Apparently she searched for other Obstfelds and I'm the only one. Its still unclear whether we're related in some way, I don't think so though. How weird is that?
