It's been too long

I've been saving up for awhile. So here we go...

dancingdryad has some very nice nature bases. You can find them here. My favorites in this batch are the sky photos. Very brilliant colors. I think I'll use some of them just as they are. (The post is locked, sorry about that, but the community has open membership if you're interested.)

muzzmakesabasehas a gigantic set of 218 bases all connected to the theme of rain. You can find them all here. I like these because they are crisp and clear. They remind me that I really do like rain. These are posted as bases, and they'd be great for that. But these would stand alone as icons. EDITED The link should now go to a non-locked post.

collectingpups has some awesome icons of flowers. They looks kinda see through and it's a really great effect. You can find them here. The post is locked, but the icon I used for this post is from that collection, so if you are interested enough you could join to see them. I wouldn't usually link to a locked post, but the effect is just so amazing. You can find those flowers here.

par_printemps has 30 random stock icons. You can find them here. The post includes some nature, some animals, some bright colors. I like the simpleness of them. Not even a distracting border. And the colors just pop off the screen.

capture_dreams has several really great icon posts. I'll just group them all together. First, is this really great post featuring orchids. The icons do a great job of showing of the beauty and detail of the orchids. And, I also have to promote several sets of bases on color themes. PURPLES! BLUES! ORANGES! GREENS! PINKS! and WHITES! I especially love the use of the borders and words on these icons. And, it's pretty just to look at the groups of colors.

organicdesignshas a collections of icons with quotes about flowers. I love the choice of quotes and the background they are on. You can find those here.

i_love_bubbles made some very nice icons from Monet's artwork. I like these because I love Money. His art translates into icons beautifully. i_love_bubbles did a nice job. All of those can be found here.

juno_icons has an amazing set of icons of flowers. These are from a manuscript from the last 16th century. I like these because they are very different from the flower icons you usually see. And they of course have a beautiful old-fashioned feel. Take a look a those here.

lidi has a collection of animated Winnie the Pooh icons. I usually don't like animated icons, but these are very cute and very fun. You can actually tell what's happening in the little animations, which isn't always the case, I find. Take a look at those here

And finally, last one I swear.

jenn007a posted a collection of Harry Potter and Narnia icons. My favorites are of the trio and the post also includes some amazing icons made from a Narnia map. If you like Narnia at all you have to look at these. You can find those over here.
