My SO parks his car in a ~30 car garage outside of our condo building. It is an open garage in that there is no door, and there are big unscreened windows, which look out on a pond and semi-wooded area. His assigned space is directly under an overhead light (where they like to congregate) and also right next to one of these windows.

I am trying to look at rental housing online. The biggest hiccup I have is that my husband and I own 2 pitbulls, and usually if dogs are allowed at rental homes, they dont allow "agressive" breeds, or dogs over 30 lbs. My dogs arent agressive, but weigh about 35-40 lbs ( Read more... )

I found a bug in my pasta today. I was boiling the pasta in water and this thing floated to the top. I'm super careful about bugs now because we just got rid of a massive infestation of flour moths. After finally eradicating all of the flour moths, we've started putting all of our food in ziplock bags and airtight containers when we store it there ( Read more... )

My rental apartment has become infested with termites. I have a 7-month-old son and an elderly cat and I am worried about introducing toxic pesticides into the house.
