If you made it yourself it could be much less expensive than the catalogue versions. search around, there are lots of dividers available on line.

I would get some planters and place supports in them to attach some lattice fencing onto. If the planters are large/heavy enough, you could probably get away with just filling them with soil and plants, otherwise you may need something heavier to weigh them down.

This was going to be my suggestion.

I suggest getting a heavy support base intended for supporting a free-standing parasol, and using it to support a vertical wood or metal pole. You can stand that in the open end of the carport, and even move it if you wish. Then attach a hook to the fence and hang a line between the top of the pole and the fence, and hang a drape or similar from that. Weight the bottom of the drape (sew weights into it, as with a well-made curtain, for example) to prevent it swinging around too much.

You might also be able to adapt the sort of camping wind-break screen sold for use at the beach, by supporting it in the same sort of support base rather than driving the poles into the ground as you would at the beach.

A traditional room divider, as often sold with Japanese print on them, might also work.

Something like this could probably be done quite cheaply by mixing quikrete in something large and sinking a post into it. Think 5 gallon bucket and fence post, but something you find more esthetically pleasing. Check thrift stores and dollar stores for large planters or more attractive containers.
