My crock pot of 30 years (!) has finally died. I'm looking for raves and hates on what's out there now. Costco is an option. And so is Walgreens

my hubby got me this one for my birthday and i love it.
no timer, but we don't run it when neither of us are home so one isn't really necessary. it's consistent, it's easy to clean, it's just awesome all around and i've been incredibly happy with it.
The biggest thing you're going to find is that the new crockpots are going to run considerably hotter than your 30 year old one (manufacturers reacting to food temperature safety mostly). Just so you're prepared to adjust!
Ooh, I rather like the bungee cord on the one shortsweetcynic recommends - nice for when you're taking a hot dish to a pot luck.
Mine is a pretty old-school crock pot, and to be honest I would wish for the ability to have it start out on high and then switch automatically to low or to a keep warm setting.
