I suggest not getting an LG. As much as I adored my LG washer, the LG dryer did not dry the clothes! It had a zillion cycles and that was cool, but it did not dry the clothes and that wasn't cool at all. I have a GE Profile in my new house and it performs much better.

lol, I have an LG and it dries my clothes wonderfully and quickly.

Mileage may vary and all that other stuff.

hmmm good to know.

This old dryer was loud and cranky but it did dry well. It was a Kenmore

TBH, the greatest thing about my dryer is that it UPSTAIRS and I don't have to lug clothes up and down the stairs.

I enjoy using the delay feature because since it's upstairs I can set it to dry clothes after my son is asleep so he doesn't have to hear it while he's trying to get to sleep.

Mine has a wrinkle setting. After the clothes have finished, every few minutes it will turn back on for a few seconds. It'll do that for an hour or so, or until someone opens the door. Then if I get busy or just forget the laundry, I don't discover a wrinkly mess.

We just bought a washer and dryer for the first time (our condo just came with one). We wanted to just get the cheapest ones they had, but my husband noticed that the dryer's timed setting only went up to 30 minutes! I don't think I've ever had a load that dried in 30 min, and the stuff I dry on low takes at least an hour and a half, sometimes two hours. We'd have to constantly run downstairs to reset it.

My dryer hardly costs a thing. And it runs very cheaply too. It's a rope and two fans. LOL!
I can't even afford a "new" used dryer right now but not sure I even want one.
To get out wrinkles I just use Downy Wrinkle Release spray.

In the summer I can hang stuff outside. (Well unless it's raining, but then I can sometimes get in an "extra rinse" LOL!)

I don't really mean to make light of your situation though.
Sorry I can't really recommend anything. I hope you find what you need.

I'm glad it helped!! :)

I am currently "drying" a load of wash right now wish my fans. One of the fans is an oscillating fan and I think that helps.

It's currently 45 degrees here (Dayton, OH) and we are going to get rain in the next few hours. I think it's supposed to get colder tomorrow and we are suppose to get snow. Might see snow by tomorrow morning.
Should be interesting walking to church. Unless I get a ride, that is.
I don't have a car but church isn't too far away. :)
