I suggest not getting an LG. As much as I adored my LG washer, the LG dryer did not dry the clothes! It had a zillion cycles and that was cool, but it did not dry the clothes and that wasn't cool at all. I have a GE Profile in my new house and it performs much better.

lol, I have an LG and it dries my clothes wonderfully and quickly.

Mileage may vary and all that other stuff.

hmmm good to know.

This old dryer was loud and cranky but it did dry well. It was a Kenmore

We've got a Kenmore washer and dryer that are both over 25 years old and still going strong. Never had an issue with either of them :knocks wood:

A Kenmore will run for twenty years, heh. If I were buying new, that's what I'd get, but I come from a Kenmore-loving family. Above commenter said her LG worked fine...maybe I had a dud.
