its nearly 5am and my papers not done, the bird that was chirping outside my window at three has since chilled out, and im doing too much thinking about why i do things instead of just doing them
anand wants to know if today's "picnic" is code for "secret induction rituals for the freshmen." if it is not, he wants to know if there is any such "secret induction ritual" due to the nature of CSS being a "secret society."
you probably shouldnt be kidding... no nothing will be done to you guys, last year they "made" us go to a Monday night party and were supposedly goign to make us all drink, but no, none of that really happened. My experience was that in the fall the upperclassmen (snr and few jnrs that were around) were very very nice and welcoming (not like the welcome we got from Kilby "if you find that you do not have what it takes, there are 30 people on the waiting-list waiting for you to back down")
when the juniors (that will be us!) got back, there was some tension, but hopefully with our class it will be different. given next yr's snrs i could see that they would hunt u down if they feel that your attendance to parties is less than satisfactory.
