'Re: Informal talk

I came across your delightful site via SAA Illustration Hub. I would like to contact Niroot Puttapipat, with the offer of an informal talk about historical costume and background research processes at UWIC university in Cardiff. The illustration students there are undergraduates. ( Read more... )

Oh the talk sounds wonderful, you should so do it! I know how thankful and appreciative I would be if I could go to to one of your talks! It would be such an honor for the students and for yourself :D

*heart heart*

Very interested in some(all if I had funds ;p) of your prints. I'm assuming The Folio Society will have higher quality prints? On the one hand, yeah you only get 20%, but it seems they have a lot of followers/members willing to pay more $$$ So you'll probably get more sold there then elsewhere? I don't know :0

Also seeing as your other post is about funds, have you opened up an etsy store? Not only can you sell your prints, but your paper crafts, etc. You have to do everything yourself IE print/ship, but you don't have to pay a lot of commission to come up on searches. I know your art is one that's highly valued and treasured <3

Oh my! The talk sounds like it will be a nice experience overall... so you SHOULD do it! :D I feel the same about public speaking (as you've likely probably guessed) and quite often I will physically half-choke mid word. Extremely embarrassing. I'm sure it will make quite a bit of difference if these students are truly interested in these subjects. :)

The print program does sound like a good idea, especially as it is non-exclusive. And as for selling those Rubaiyat originals... my, those would fetch a pretty penny. But to part with such lovely works!!!!! I wouldn't be able to do it, let alone quote a price, heh heh.
