Happy Birthday, Rue! I hope you don't mind, but I got you a present. It's a muggle book, so some of the magic in it is a little odd, but it's pretty funny at parts and it's sort of sweet in other parts. A bit like a fairy tale.

...Um...now that you're not at the Mitternacht...if you need a place to stay next summer, I'm sure my parents would be happy to have you at our house, at least until you find your own place. If you'd like, anyway.

No, but I think Sengoku celebrated it enough for everyone else. I daresay you saw how that little "display" of roses and gifts in our commonroom. Kind of hard to miss...
...But seriosly, I don't really celebrate my birthday anyway. It happens every year, it's not really all that special.
