Well...it looks like today's the day...do I feel any different? No, not really because of age, but...it definitely makes me feel...like I'm in limbo more free. I'll never have to go back to the Mitternacht...ever again.

My sincerest apologizes for not sending you best wishes before now. It seems the time has passed by rather quickly day, between classes, one seminar meeting, a private meeting with some Staff members of the school and making preparations for Tsubasa's try out for Lady Capulet. I suppose time really does fly when "having fun."

Happy Birthday, Rue. You are a wonderful girl who is admired by many and I am sure all of your closest friends would be honored to celebrate such an important event with you. It's not everyday we reflect on the experiences, friendships and hardships we've endured years in and out.

I will have to bring you a special gift to the Masquerade ball, to help celebrate the occasion.

Oh, it's all right, Mikage. You being the Director of the production and Head Boy on top of your regular student and seminar duties, I daresay you have plenty on your plate, and I wouldn't want you to think not giving me birthday wishes is anything horrible. It happens every year, it's not anything special. *slight smile* You flatter me, Mikage...but thank you all the same.

What is it with everyone and gifts-? You really don't have to. I wouldn't want to make you go to any trouble.

Happy birthday Rue-chan! It seems everyone has beaten me to it, but best wishes all the same. I worked a little more on my costume today and have the sides and sleeves sewn together. It doesn't look half bad. I'll have to show it to you later on after classes. Are you doing anything special for your birthday, like a party?

Thank you, Yuujiro. Such things are better late than never, or so I've heard.
Oh, that's great. I'm glad it's coming along. Maybe after classes we can work together on it.
No, I'm not really used to celebrations, so I wouldn't be sure quite what to plan even if I'd really wanted to. Dokuro and I went down to see the house-elves in the kitchens, though, and they made a rather sugary cake.

A sugary cake? That sounds delicious. Did you and your friends get together and split it? I hope you didn't eat it by yourself in the common room, because that would be depressing. You have many friends who wouldn't dream of you spending the occasion alone!

Can you believe Halloween is tomorrow night? I hope everything turns out okay. I'm excited for the masquerade ball and I hope Tooru likes how the outfit turned out. Oh yeah, thank you for the candygram! That was very sweet of you. ♥
