Working on the next TPATD chapter because OMG it's been ages since we've seen that fic updated. Good news? I'm in need of roughly 2000 words and then we'll have another chapter. I'm only sorry it's taking so long to get up - a drawback to two jobs, I suppose, is the inability to have focusing power on FanFiction. Part of my problem is a familiar

No worries KoK. 2 jobs are better than none...
And take your time. Your chapters are worth the wait.

Well, the good news is that one job only falls on one day of the week. I do have cellular/molecular biology coming up this week that I'll be involved with until late July, sooo not so thrilled about that. I'll survive!
(Haha, this coming chapter will have Marik fans very happy)

Well, I don't like to poke people about reviews, but since you really want to know, there's also the Nancy Drew fic....
My dad uses Dragon Naturally Speaking and loves it. I don't think I'd ever be comfortable using a program like that and saying out loud everything I'm wanting to type, but if you think it would be good for you, then it's probably worth seriously considering. :)

Well, I'm not entirely a fan of the idea either, but on the other hand I've had cases where I've basically orally dictated my chapter and then when it came time for me to write it everything I said went POOF BYE BYE. If I did get some kind of tech like that I'd only use it for FFN, just so I could organize my thoughts.

Oh yes, cases like that are so frustrating! Sometimes I scratch out plot ideas on random pieces of paper so as to hopefully avoid forgetting them.

Well I tried that too, but again came the same problem: things I think or say outloud don't translate easily to paper and I'm stuck going "Awesome mental image but CAN'T GET IT DOOOOOWN". I eventually get everything on my mind to paper, but it usually takes forever to do - and it delays updates too DX

I've heard DragonSpeak is a good program. Expensive, but good. It can even pick up on accents or so I have heard. I probably would not purchase it for myself but maybe you can figure out how to do a "test run" with it. Or maybe you could carry a little notebook with you so when ideas pop in your head, you can write it out before you forget it, or can't describe it. That might help *shrugs*

See, I used to rely on notebooks to transfer FFN stuffs. My problem is that these days I'm having trouble getting it to notebooks. I've had to have orally dictated my current TPATD chapter, like, a gazillion times to myself on the way to my job. But I get in front of my computer and I'm like HERP DERP NOTHING TO DO HERE. A dictating program would come in handy specifically for that reason - I prolly wouldn't use it for anything aside from FFN stuff, haha.
