Chicago - Tuesday

Before I post my Chicago pics I have to share this which tasabian found yesterday. Oh, how things change. LOL. It was only a year and half ago but to be fair it was pre-AHBL1 which was where I converted to Misha.

Right, Chicago

In which we cram a lot into one day )

Okay, I definitely like your photos better! I see this stuff pretty much every day and it gets boring to the point that I don't even notice it any more! But I really like seeing this joint through fresh eyes. And I LOVE the sunset shot from the Ferris wheel. Thanks for sharing, Hils!

I'd forgotten all about the cupcake! That was from the Sugar Bliss bakery.

The mall? That was Water Tower Place, you were right.

The structure that you liked? That was the old Water Tower.

The inside architecture of the Cheesecake Factory reminded me more of the inside of something's stomach than a cake, but . . . I'm weird like that. XD

Hehe! I remember you saying that being in the Cheesecake Factory was like being eaten alive. I think that's what made me take the photo

The one near our Wincon hotel was VERY different. I'll post those pics tomorrow

You were *so close* to me!!! I'm within walking distance of
Water Tower Place. :)

Interestingly, I have never seen the ceiling of The Cheesecake Factory as the inside of a cake.. I always thought they were clouds. I like your perspective.

yay for doing what J2 did in your fic! Fun to experience firsthand, I'd think.

Hehe! It took me a LONG time to psych myself up enough to step on it. People were laughing at me. LOL

Haha, it is very surreal seeing Chicago from a tourist's perspective. Also, I did not know that American Girl store existed, and now I am scared because they could conceivably walk out of there and get me. o.O
