Yesterday was just perfect as far as I am concerned. Of course I felt as though I was catered to all day, and that never happens, so it was quite a treat. My daughter has a huge fancy kitchen with everything you can imagine, and she is an amazing cook ( Read more... )

Urgh. If they knew they had dogs, they should have said 'no dogs' when the invited them. I suppose they could be folks who would never think of taking the critters with them somewhere, and it never entered their minds. Well, they know now.

Well, yeah. Jason's parents are very poor communicators. They didn't say no dogs until Jason came right out and asked them (which probably he should have done from the beginning). They are not dog people and not dog people do not understand dog people. We consider the dogs to be part of the family ( ... )

I am so glad Hyp's parents let us bring our girls even though they aren't dog people. I feel so bad that they had people back out on them. I hope the declutter continues to go well.

Well, I guess it all worked out, but they will need to be more proactive in future. Selfishly, I got all kinds of time with my daughter this weekend, which I loved.

Now the gang is back and my grandson has strep throat. I knew there was something wrong with him on Thursday. He's a little drama queen, so it's hard to tell. Please don't let me catch strep throat.
