I was shocked at the comments, I thought people would be supporting the girl saying how wrong the school was. But, once again, our country has proven us wrong with the sheer amount of homophobes who are ignorant and have probably never met a single gay/lesbian person in their entire life.

For fucks sake, I don't even see what the hell was wrong with the girl going with her girlfriend. They act as if she was going to have sex with her in the middle of the dance floor. It's ridiculous that they canceled the whole entire prom because they didn't allow two girls to just be themselves.

The comments are what really got me. I mean, there were a few of the unintelligent ones where they couldn't even spell what they were trying to argue which I was kind of more okay with than the ones that seemed decently educated. And were STILL talking about how wrong and evil she was for being gay.

I know! It's a freaking DANCE. What is so wrong with her going with her girlfriend? What's wrong with wearing a tux? I mean, I'd be more worried about half the dresses the GIRLS are wearing. There's probably more skin showing than dress with those girls, yet those are okay?!

I kind of really want to punch something right now. I love my country, but sometimes I wish Alfred F. Jones existed so I could punch him on behalf of this entire nation. I know not everyone is homophobic like that, but it definitely shows when stuff like this happens. HONESTLY. People need to get the fuck over themselves.

I can't bring myself to even read all that. XD; Unfortunately, my sister has fallen into the same category as the bullshit homophobes on there (She told me I would go to hell or she would put me in jail, fff.) But I can't say I expect much more from Mississippi. They're still pulling on their banjo strings and rockin' on their porches. XD
