OHMYGOODNESS! This is fantastic! Fluff and cuteness and House being House and just overall amazingness. I love the heirarchy that House establishes between all of Cuddy's dates. And the High School Musical reference! That made me giggle a little bit.
I loved the way House annoyed Cuddy into submission. And Foreman's line about a threesome. ;) And the progression of their relationship. And the fact that House knows how to 'woo' Cuddy. The beach scene is something I could envision happening and it's cute (despite the fact that I'm not a romantic sap in the slightest). Oh, and your style. LOVE it. It flows so well. :D
I try really hard not to be a romantic but somtimes it just... seeps through. And turns things fluffy. It's a disconcerting experience, let me tell you. ;)
I'm really glad you enjoyed it, despite the sappy. And I'm glad the style worked out - there's a fine line between vague and too vague. So.
oh. oh! i really really like this. which is not exactly concrit of wonder. um, i like the voices - very true. and the slightly muddled telling, which also seems true. house being persistent and cuddy stubborn. or is it the other way around? them both being vulnerable only at the very last second. oh yes, i like it very much.
I'm very glad you liked it :) House and Cuddy - they're so confusing at times. It's hard not to make the writing slightly confusing at the same time. *g*
awwww! this was lovely - love your unorthodox style of writing, but everything just comes through so clearly. house's persistence? brilliant. cuddy's resistance? better! you say so much with so few words. favourite line, just because it's so true:
wilson glares warningly from the doorway. don't hurt her.
I used to be one of those people that needed a dozen pages to say one thing. I find I like writing this much, much better, so I'm glad it comes off clear enough!
Wilson is totally Mr. Moral Highground when it comes to House and Cuddy. It's so adorable. I just want to pinch his cheeks sometimes. *g*
Thank you for the review! I'm realy glad you enjoyed it.
Well, I'm loving this style of writing from you - you've pulled it off marvellously, especially if you're newish at it!
SO agree on Wilson - totally Mr Moral Highground. Cheek-pinching, that would be, like, mandatory or something. I would love love LOVE more scenes of Wilson teasing/counselling House about hooking up with Cuddy, yes I would.
Great job. I can hear them very clearly and Forman telling all three of them to just get a room already had me on the floor in giggles. Wonderful way to end the workweek, thank you.
