With the exception of cracked-out things dictated by Jessica, I'm virtually incapable of writing anything approaching a happy ending. No idea why. It just always comes out crappy and unrealistic. So I avoid it. ^^
I'm glad you liked it anyway. I think you should share your fic now. *nods*
That was like stumbling into bizzaro-PPTH. I liked the first Wilson section and all of Stacey’s ones, and I giggled when I read that Chase’s dad still got him the job. And oh, the irony when House became “Coma Guy”. But my fav was definitely the Vogler one. Yeeha ! Total smackdown.
*laughs* Bizzaro-PPTH! I like it. :) I'm really of the mindset that while yes, House does play a huge central role in all their lives, there are some things that would go unchanged even if he weren't around. He's responsible for a lot, but not for everything.
this is amazing. house's absence is such an enormous presence here, the weight of what should have been. it's definitely haunting, but i don't think it's depressing in the least. more wistful. very well done.
I love this! Nice take on how this could've gone if House had his way. A world without Gregory House is definitely dull indeed. It seemed almost... mechanical. He's such a big presence in all of the characters' worlds. I enjoyed the Chase/Cam hookup, but the CuddyStacyHouse stuff was my favorite. Excellent fic! So beautiful in its quiet, almost depressing, aspect.
He really does make himself the centre of the universe, doesn't he? Although I like to think that some things would still remain the same even without him, some things (Wilson's divorces, Cuddy's desire to have a baby, etc.) weren't entirely dictated by him. It's a nice thought that the other characters have some sovereignty over their own lives. ^^
Thank you very much for reading! I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
