It was cloudy outside, but a stream of sunlight danced across the pages of Rylie's journal as she sat quietly in the courtyard. So far, she had written the date, and that was about all. She had been hoping for something to catch her eye. Perhaps a cloud would be shaped in a complex pattern, a window would sparkle like a diamond, or a person would stumble across her path.
However, so far she had been undisturbed, and for once in was bothering her. She leaned back against the stone wall of the castle, and with a sigh she closed her eyes. Maybe if she waited, she'd form some sort of plan.
