Aleesha Montgomery meandered into the Great Hall, offering smiles and waves to any friend that happened by. She had shed her robes after her last class and changed into a white sweater and her favourite pair of jeans, black with a rip in the left knee. Her hair was tied neatly into a high ponytail and she had even gone so far as to whack a little mascara and lip gloss on.

Yes, Aleesha had made some sort of effort for her date with Kazuki. Well, she deserved to, she had only been waiting for this since Chen introduced them in her second year. Of course, her desire for a date was mostly based on how hot he was, but she knew he was a decent guy, at the very least they'd hve a fun time.

She spotted him at the Gryffindor table looking rather forlorn with his head on his arms. WHAT? Nuh-uh, no way was he allowed to be forlorn or any kind of word related to it, not when he had finally caved and asked her out!

Kazu lifted his head off of his arms, giving Aleesha a silly grin. She looked cute, didn't she? Usually she looked cute all the time, but Kazu thought the rip in her jeans was adorable on its own, let alone combined with the cute sweater and hairstyle.

"Hey there, Monty," he chuckled. "Hope you don't mind having dinner with me tonight."

He moved over a tad bit to make more room for Leesh before he adjusted his sleeves. He hadn't gotten too dressed up for the occasion, but he was wearing one of his nicer pairs of jeans. Not too many rips, anyway.

Kazu glanced at her before laughing nervously, reaching for something to put on his plate. "Sorry if I'm boring to you. I just... needed someone to talk to, yeah?"

It was extremely fortunate for him that Aleesha hadn't expected Kazuki to dress up. Guys just didn't do that, at least not for her. If she had expected it, he'd be laying on the floor in the fetal position shielding himself from her blows, just for disappointing her
