Kazu heaved a sigh, resting his head on top of his arms, which in turn were crossed on the table. For one time in a long time, Kazu Takurai wasn’t hungry. Well, at least not with his regular appetite. This time around, he was ready to eat a little bit of salad and maybe some meats, if he was lucky. Otherwise, his belly wasn’t rumbling for something to eat.
...What was wrong with him?
The entire week had been like this for him, and various events that had happened days and weeks before. He was already feeling down about beating the crap out of Frazer that last Quidditch practice he had, and some of the stuff Illiad Hawkins mentioned to him on Monday morning wasn’t helping either.
Usually, Kazu was one to throw on an idiot smile and go along with everything, but that wasn’t working for him. He was even a little down around Bach, which was strange, considering the older boy was his best friend.
Hopefully, his hunch was correct in thinking Aleesha Montgomery could get his spirits back up.
