Week Name/Date/Time: 'Friends In Low Places' / Sunday, April 2, 2006 / 1:55 pm Location: Library Open To: The lovely Lissianna Currently Involving: Kenneth
Lissianna was bored, and boredness did not settle well with the girl. She liked to be evesdroping, or doing something productive. Since she was doing neither at the moment, she figured she’d seek refuge in the library and read a book. She was ready for all the hectic attitude of the school to end. Unfortunately, it hadn’t ended yet.
Walking into the library, her eyes lit up with delight at her childhood friend (and major crush) Kenneth. She adored the 6th year Ravenclaw more then she could say. They had been childhood best friends, companions, cooherts in crime, and now he was mouth wateringly delicious and she was crushing on him badly.
Smiling she approached her friend and lovingly tweeked his cheek lovingly. “Hey there handsome, how’s my most favorite Ravenclaw?”
Kenneth looked up with a spark in his eyes. Lissianna. The one girl that he could say that he would bend over backwards for in a heartbeat. They'd been nearly inseparable growing up, and now she had blossomed into a beautiful young lady, and Kenneth was very interested in her
( ... )
Lissianna practically preened in delight at Kenneth’s praise. She sincerely hoped that she wasn’t blushing as red as a strawberry at his compliments, that would be rather embarrassing. She’d like to think she had some sort of control over her hormones, especially over a boy. But damn, this boy was Kenneth, no he wasn’t a boy, he was a man. Through all her snogging exploits the past year and earlier this month, she had always wished it was Kenneth she was kissing.
“I survived just fine. Nobody took an interest in me.” She pouted slightly. “I guess I’m not attractive enough for the boys at this school. Besides, if anyone took an interest in me, I would hope that they wouldn’t need a potion to do so.”
She was blushing, but Kenneth wouldn't draw attention to it. Of course, it wasn't a big deal, as blushing was natural, and Kenneth had made several people do it before, but Lissianna was quite different than other girls, so he was rather flattered when she blushed at his words. Good reaction. Kenneth had had his fair share of snogging too, and although he hadn't always wished it to be Lissianna, it was quite a fantasy of his to think of what it would be like to kiss her. He'd have to remedy that soon.
He looked at her with surprise. "Really? Well, that's their loss then." He placed his hand over hers and said, "Yes you are attractive. Most of the boys in this school are just too bloody blind to see it." He nodded. "Yes, the potion thing was a flux. It's much better to be fancied from natural reasons, rather than artificial ones."
