Kenneth was fully tired of the past bloody week. He was ready for the professors to get better and he was ready for the whole insane castle to settle down. Enough of this improper snogging everywhere and the lovey-dovey attitude of the castle over the past few days just had to go. Sadly, however, it hadn't gone anywhere yet, so Kenneth did the one thing he did fairly well: he hid from it.
Though the library was, by default, one of his favorite places in the castle, it also served a bloody brilliant place to hide when one needed to. Of course, he'd seen a few people come into the library entangled with one another, but they didn't stay there very long. Fortunately the library wasn't exactly a romantic setting. This was fine by Kenneth, so it was nothing strange that he could be found there thatSunday afternoon, catching up a bit of reading that he hadn't had much time for before this week.
He turned the page quietly in the book and began reading the new page. Goblin/Wizard treaties weren't exactly stimulating entertainment, but it would do and it helped to have a thorough understanding of all the lesser creatures. One never knew when they would be subjected to the goblins company. The Dark Lord was always recruiting others to help him in his quest, and goblins couldn't escape him. He finished the page and shifted his eyes over to the next page when he heard someone stirring near his table.
He didn't look up because if they were interested in talking with him, they should approach him first. It was only polite.
