Tom wasn't really effected by any of the potions, atleast not that he could tell. He really only liked a couple girls (if you could even count the second) so how hard he was hit with it was an unknown. Atleast for the time being.

Coming down the hall, Tom noticed the Margielicious outside a broom cupboard. Tom ran down the hall as fast he could, halting just outside the closet and leaned in to whisper in Margies ear, "Finishing something up than?"

He was only joking about that of course, because Margie probably wasn't one of those girls running around Hogwarts willy-nilly and love-struck. Tom hoped that Margie wasn't one of those girls running around like that because he wanted her all to himself. It was true indeed: Thomas Michael Paddock fancied the Margielicious.

Margie heard some pounding sounds but she just figured it was hear heart beating in her ears. Not someone running down the hall. In fact she was so concentrated on trying to steady her breath and calm her already jumpy nerves that she still believed she was alone in the hallway.

That is until someone, a GUY someone, whispered in her ear. To put it nicely she freaked out. To put it realistically she practically jumped and fell back into Tom, turning around and just even shaking a little. OH MY BUGGERING BLOODY MERLIN WHAT THE...AHHH.

If her heart wasn't racing before it was now, and not only that but her face was a deep bright red. He couldn't possibly...she wouldn't...oh bugger.

"No-you-I-TOM!" She smacked him in the arm lightly while clutching the other to her chest. Oh Merlin this is not what she needed right now. Ok maybe talking with her best friend was what she needed...but not being scared out of her ruddy mind!! "Don't do that."

It was a good thing that she didn't know that Tom fancied her. A very good thing. She didn't ( ... )

Tom hadn't meant to make Margie freak out and go spastic. He'd done it purely to be...an idiot. That, and to see her squirm a little. Margie squirming was always fun to watch, and what better time to do it than when on her prefect duties? So when Margie fell back into him, Tom chuckled a little and pushed her back onto her feet and said, "Easy there, tiger!"

Tom welcomed the smack and just laughed at how Margie'd clearly over-reacted. He really had no clue that she'd been barging in on couples and breaking them up, otherwise he might not have done a 'surprise attack'. "Why not? Afraid I'll actually catch you in the act?"

Well Margie was glad she could provide amusement for someone with her squirming. Truthfully she was glad that he was there though, even if he did scare her out of her mind.

She steadied herself and smiled a little, trying to get her blush to go down to at least a manageable level. "Sorry about that...didn't mean to, you know, fall into you," she said before biting her lip.

"No! I wouldn't...you don't think...?" Margie's eyes got wide and her cheeks got a tinge more red before realized it. Oh ruddy hell this wasn't happening right? In fact she just started laughing so hard that she doubled over, a few unlovely snorts coming out of her mouth as she just cracked up. "Tom...oh Merlin...I...would...never," she managed to get out between her laughs.
