Walking in with a silly smirk on her face, Avis looked straight ahead, still holding onto Erik's shoulder. Sure, she kind of got some odd stares in the corridors and all, but. . .well. . .she wasn't exactly sure. Part of her wondered if this wouldn't all come back to bite her in the arse and karma to reverse itself or summat of the sort, having others seeing her being all decoy-ish with Erik Cohen.
Well, it was sort of fun, in some odd way that Avis would of course deny. Sure, so maybe her "flirting" was NOT convincing at all, but she had Erik to make up for that. Hey, he was the one who used to have. . .Ah. She wouldn't go there.
Instead, she'd keep the same smirk on her face and burst out in guffaws and put on a very elaborate "scheme," as she thought of it, even if it meant everyone kind of looked at her oddly. Or in her mind they did, which actually made more sense. But as long as she kept with this, walking with her arm around Erik's shoulder to dinner and laughing occasionally, it all seemed like a very good decoy situation.
