Juhi let out a quiet, hopeless wail, and pattered down the corridor. She was running AWAY from Ravenclaw Tower, which really, was not her plan this time! Honestly! Her prefect patrolling had ended a little time ago, and NOW, of course, her cat decided to act crazy!nocturnal. Bean had followed her about as though he were the model of an angel kitten, and one just made for wandering long, dark, echoing hallways with sixteen year old girls.
Particularly ones dragging an old quill feather on a string along the ground beside them.
...Okay, so maybe it HAD been cheating, but it had worked, right? And anyway, Juhi had no idea how to train a cat, so it seemed like a good idea. At the time, if nothing else. She was distracted slightly by a nearby sound, and stopped for a moment to listen before remembering that HELLO, kitten on the loose! Needing retrieval! (Bean had, of course, grown tired of the feather right at the moment they arrived at the common room entrance, and had run away in the opposite direction before Juhi knew what was happening.)
Reaching a corner, she cursed quietly. "Bean?" Juhi hissed hesitantly. "Pssst! Bean?"
