Jackie stood patiently at the goal posts, with broom in hand, waiting for Jory to arrive. Ever since she pried him off her broom (jokingly, of course) the other week, they had made a pack that she would take him flying whenever she could. Since last week was packed, she didn't have time then. But now that Emmy had safely returned, and it seemed like Hogwarts was 'getting back to normal' (unless of course, that was just the calm before the next storm), today seemed like a good enough day to fly.
Unfortunately, the weather wasn't all too agreeable. It had been raining off and on... currently in 'off' mode, although the misty drizzle let Jackie push her bangs off her face and keep them off her face. She wondered if Jory would be okay with flying in such weather. Hmm... maybe he wasn't, and she had missed his owl to her canceling. She wouldn't have minded if he did; she would completely understand. But still, she waited. She figured she could give him another ten or fifteen minutes before flying off on her own.
