Noah pulled at his robes, flicking at a piece of lint as he walked down one of the quiet side streets in Hogsmeade. He turned left at the next street looking at the end of the short street, he could see the inconsistent flow of the main street

Abel looked over at the greeter; of course, it would be Noah that was in Hogsmeade. He distinctly remembered the Auror telling him that he liked to visit the village for lunch or breakfast. Now he wondered if that meal plan involved dinner as well. "Good evening, Noah Barr." There. No more Mr Auror salutations that were the usual words between them, now they were actually using each other’s names
( ... )
Noah smiled grimly. "Still trying to figure that out myself, think I will contact some of the other aurors or even think about approaching the Headmaster at this point. I need to know what is going on and what they want of us." Before he went mad, or became the wired person he was before he got here and that is the last type of auror they need at a school full of kids
( ... )
Abel nodded. So he didn’t even know what was going on inside either, huh? Administration these days were definitely going downhill. There was a time when Aurors would be dispatched, secure a scene and immediately investigate and hunt down murderers or other evil wizards while their trail was still fresh. Like how they handled things back when Creed was an Auror... Now? They let Ministry officials come and do paperwork.
Perhaps it was a good thing he had given up that path, Abel wasn’t meant to be just a decoration.
"I’m headed to a shop that supposedly serves good coffee" He glanced sideways at the brunette, "as someone recommended the shop to me. I suppose I should leave my hermitage at some point." He needed an excuse to get out of the castle and he had no preference to alcohol. Going into a tea or coffee house would do the trick quite nicely.
"And yourself?" He highly doubted this was some on-duty chore for the other man, but, with the way he kept looking around, it could be. In that case, Abel didn't want to be distracting.
