Gabriel was sitting up on his four-poster bed in his silky blue pajamas. He was upset that he didn't get anything for Saffron for her birthday, and for another reason involving Saffron, so that day he tried to avoid her all together. He wasn't trying to be rude or inconsiderate. He was just trying to let the awkwardness between them die down, and he was going to make her birthday up to her at the next Hogsmeade trip whenever it was. He didn't get the chance to get her a present but then he guessed that a recitation of his feelings for her was suprise enough.
