It normally took him no time at all to find his way back into the dungeons. After all, he knew the secret passages of this castle fairly well, all things considered. But a pale of unseeing blue eyes, familiar eyes at that, had knocked all recollection of where he was supposed to go clean out of his head...and Jack, sneaky bint, had 'borrowed' his map.
His legs seemed to want to carry him anywhere, so long as it was AWAY from the grisly scene he'd just encountered. Normally, he would have been curious...so many professors, Aurors, even the caretaker, and all rattled to the bones, from the look of it. It was a prime opportunity to do what he did best, and spy.
But the whole...'dead bodies' thing had cleansed him of any desire to eavesdrop, this time around. Truth be told, he was rather shaken...
As would be rather obvious to anyone who noticed him stumbling at long last into the sitting area of the Slytherin Common Room, looking unnaturally pale and clammy, his dark eyes wide and dazed and...well, lost, for lack of a better term. He really didn't feel so well...perhaps he ought to sit down...
But who could sit still at a time like this?
