Week Name/Date/Time: 'Books Of Mystery'/ Tuesday, October 18th, 2005/ 3:19pm
Location: Court Yard
Open To: Jory
Currently Involving: Saffron and Jory
Though it had been drizzling earlier, the sun was actually out, and the stone of the court yard was actually dry. She had just got out of History of Magic, and Saffron desperately needed some fresh air, which was certainly saying something because Saffron generally didn't like being outside. Even with all the homework she had acquired that day, she was reading the Daily Prophet. Breakfast hadn't sounded too appealing that morning, and not having read it then, she figured now was as good a time as any. Goblins on strike? How could they go on strike - Saffron didn't even believe that those little grouchy things were even paid. Which was possibly the reason they were grouchy, and now on strike. Even a goblin needs a little spending money now and then, right?
Last week had been boring, so much to the point that she found herself organizing her trunk. All of her socks actually had pairs, and the ones that didn't were transfigured into something more useful - such as mittens or something. After all, the weather was getting cold, and she was not one to be unprepared. It was barely October and she had a knit hat on her head and a thick wool pea coat on already.
The only interesting thing that had happened this week was actually the weird book in her common room. And even with that, Saffron didn't see what all the fuss was about. Oh heavens! It was a book, that you could write in, that had words on the cover! Something fishy must've been up with that! She had yet to write in it, and every time she passed it in the common room, Saffron gave it a decidedly incredulous glare. At the moment, however, thoughts of the book were pushed to the back of her mind. Goblins were far too amusing, though they never did care for her parents, being muggles and all. It wasn't their fault they didn't know what in the world was going on.
