That's not latin!
This refers to the claim that the development of the individual reconstructs the development of its species. Such as, human beings evolved from fish-like beings, so there's a phase as foetus in which we have something like gills. Or we evolved from an ape-like being, and there's a phase when the foetus is covered with hair. Etc.

Isn't the hoola hoops from one of the Superman movies (the first?)? Were they put the bad guys before putting them in glass.
