If you like Methos, and if you like Stargate, and you love amazing fic, then look no farther than Ecolea's 'Changing of the Guard' series. There's just so many good things about this series, I don't even know where to start. Her Methos is spot on, as is her Jack O'Neill. And the historical detail is exquisite. thanks for the reminder of those stories. I was thinking about them the other day, and for some reason I didn't think they were on seventh dimension or anywhere I could find them to read.

My favourite is actually the first one; I really loved it. Methos was so very Methos (like, y'know, lying his head off when he needed to). I didn't enjoy the later ones so much because I felt as if Methos and Jack were being played up a bit too much, at the expense of the other characters.

But the first one is definitely a goer.
