Rec: Changing of the Guard
If you like Methos, and if you like Stargate, and you love amazing fic, then look no farther than Ecolea's 'Changing of the Guard' series. There's just so many good things about this series, I don't even know where to start. Her Methos is spot on, as is her Jack O'Neill. And the historical detail is exquisite. Eventually, all the Highlander gang shows up, and all of them have a part to play.
There are five stories in the series, but if pressed to pick a favourite, I'd have to go with the 'The Ninth Chevron' which really shines in its historical detail of Ancient Greece and Egypt.
