3. I can't even begin to understand Whiskey's motivations until Boyd's are made clear. The latter will shed light on the former I hope.

4. My thinking is, if that scene was legit, Saunders/Whisky must have been sleeper-programmed to take someone (in this case Bennett) out at the right time. If that's the case it's real to Saunders at least.

5. I concur - in retrospect I see so much of Book in Boyd now.

10. You're very right and I picked up on that too - Joss seems to be telling the same story over and over but damn if it isn't an amazing trip along the way.

11. Hahaha, so much word. The moment they kissed I was expecting Bennett to be dead soon. I thought Ivy was going to come back from the vault and shoot her (Ivy was my pick for evil Rossum mastermind), but I never saw Saunders coming until the moment she pulled out the gun.

5. I was noticing the Book/Boyd connections too, and it must be so frustrating for Joss to be ripped off before the tale is told...again!

10. Maybe he'll keep telling it until he feels that he's been able to tell it right? As you said, it's a he'll of a ride each time, but I think it's one of the reasons I loved Dr Horrible. It was an entirely different adventure.

11. I watched it with a friend whose only other Whedon exposure has been Dr Horrible, and the moment Topher and Bennett kissed, I turned to her and said "she's doomed". Then - BAM! At least he didn't kill my favourite this time... Yet. A Tortured Topher pays better than a dead one I guess. I'm sure there's a Bennett imprint on file, maybe he'll imprint her over his personality? Or co-imprint the two into his brain? Gives self-love a whole new meaning....

Pity there wasn't more Enver in this episode, he is superb... Though his abscence probably emphasised my Fran Kranz love.

Boyd was on the phone to Echo when she was remote wiped in season 1. It cuts away from him before the sound is played and he feigns ignorance about it until Adelle tells him she's been wiped.

This is the first time we see/hear about remote wiping and it's always blamed on Alpha (though I don't think Alpha claims responsibility)

Plus this leads to the development of technology for remote wiping and later on remote imprinting...

At the point of the final reveal, Clyde 5.0 addresses Caroline as a doll. Either through awkward phrasing...or not.
"Technically YOU'RE not robots, it seemed to fit". He says that to Caroline NOT Echo. He also offers her tea in a very Adelle-eque manner, which she fervently refuses.

It all seemed more like a homecoming than a first meeting...the call and response between Boyd and Echo...foreshadowing - or something different?
